Sport Overview
Women's Trap Individual follows the ISSF trap format, where athletes must break clay targets launched from a trench at random trajectories. Each target presents a different combination of angle, speed, and height, requiring shooters to react and adapt instantly.
Following the same competition schedule as the men's event, women's trap official training takes place on Monday, November 23, with the 75-target qualification on Tuesday, November 24 and the final 50 targets plus finals on Wednesday, November 25. The award ceremony rounds off the individual trap program that same day, celebrating the highest level of women's trap shooting on the international stage.
