Sport Overview
The Skeet Mixed Team event brings a collaborative dimension to shotgun shooting, pairing one man and one woman from the same nation to compete as a unit. Both athletes shoot simultaneously on adjacent ranges, and their combined scores determine the team's standing.
Scheduled on Sunday, November 22, the mixed team event closes the skeet program with qualification and final held on the same day, followed by the official award ceremony for all skeet events. Introduced to the Olympic program to promote gender equality in sport, the format adds strategic depth and shared responsibility, creating some of the most exciting and unpredictable moments in shotgun competition.
